Hey that random person reading this blog!! Well, uh... Hey guys! =D
For some time now I've been using a perfume that's been given to me as a present since the perfume I bought was finished and I didn't really liked it's smell so today I went out to get my self a new perfume. And I realized there is really weird things out there, I mean, they are more like "smelly-thingy-in-the-fancy-bottle" than the classy "Eau de Toilette". So I decided to give an overview of what kind of things I like and I thought it would give ideas to people who are looking for a new perfume.
Alright. Number one is my new perfume that I bought today, it's Hermés' "Un Jardin En Méditerranée". I have to say I entered so many shops today and I couldn't like anything but as soon as I smelled it, I knew I was going to get this one. It has a woody smell and I have to say maybe it's not everybody's cup of tea but it has a very unique smell.
Number three -and I know I'm not going in order- was my previous perfume and it's just the contrary of Hermés I bought today. It's "A Scent" by Issey Miyake. I think I can say that it's the combination of very fresh flowers; though it reminds me of jasmines, it's a beautiful soft mixture. And I have to say, the mysterious name -A Scent- was the first thing that pulled me to it.
I met with number five as SleepDrawer's smell. "L" by Lolita Lempicka. A sweet smell but not nose breaking candy shop smell. I have to say, I wouldn't expect such fresh perfume from Lolita. =))
Number six is again an old perfume of mine. "Peace" by Kenzo. I can say that it's suitable for both men and women, it has no gender-defining peak. A woody, dynamic perfume though not as potent as Hermés. But I think I can describe it as "young".
Back to number two. In my mind and heart, it will always be my mother's smell. Again by Issey Miyake, "Eau D'Issey". It's a very soft and at the same time very dynamic smell. I really can't define the smell because if someone asked me, I would probably respond with one simple word: Mother. =)) This perfume deserves a chance it you're looking for something new but not nose tiring.
Number four really earns it's name with it's smell, "Amor Amor" by Cacharel. I can say it's more fruity than floral but not in a candy-ish, girly way. It is sexy; but not the heavy misk-ish sexy, more like LA dance club sexy... I don't know what I'm saying... I shouldn't try to describe any kind of smell...
